Buoys track the movement of the ocean and waves. This combination of numbers, eleven and seventeen, indicates the maximum sized wave the “Banzai Pipeline”, located on O’ahuʻs North Shore can hold before closing out.

This combination tells us what is coming: the perfect wave. Our name is a nod to the perfect combination of talent, strategy, and timing that is core to the creative ideation process of Eleven 17.   • Job Overview:

    Eleven 17 is looking for a disciplined, driven, and skilled editor with an enthusiastic personality and a ‘can-do’ attitude. The in-house Video Editor works together with creative teams, account managers, and the in-house production team on a range of projects which include short and long format videos, online and social content, and internal agency projects like company activations, and sizzle reels. You will be working closely with creatives and the executive team in concepting and executing edits for all agency projects to bring excellent quality to all work. Most importantly, the ideal candidate should be open to working on both internal and external projects, has an eye for design, and sees this as an opportunity to develop their work with some of the most skilled creatives in the industry.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Must be located in O‘ahu, Hawai‘i.

    Able to execute ideas across integrated platforms.

    Ability to work independently and diligently.

    Ability to work with demanding and changing deadlines and priorities.

    Able to work with Executive Management and Account Managers on a regular basis.

    Able to perform under general direction and supervision, and also accept critique of work and requests for changes.

    Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite-Premiere for video editing

    Strong visual storytelling skills.

    Experience editing, finishing, and color grading.

    Editing and motion graphics skills are a must.

    Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively.

    Strong ability to focus on accuracy, attention-to-detail, and timeliness.

    Must have superior verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, project management, and multitasking skills.

    Keen interest in social media content and strategy.

    Enthusiastic, and demonstrates a calm and positive attitude while under pressure.

    Proactive, ambitious, and unafraid to take initiative.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Work closely with agency creatives and clients for the editing of both internal and external facing video content for Eleven 17 clients.

    Take ownership of assigned projects, and apply editorial skills where required.

    Liaise with the Executive Team and Account Managers, Producers, and Creatives to understand the requirements of each task and creative goals of each video project briefed across our clients.

    Stay diligent and close to the edit, addressing feedback until final delivery.

    Keep up to date with digital/social trends and innovating concepts.

    Take initiative and be resourceful on your own, using the tools around you and if you require something to ask for it.

    Be disciplined in preferred editing software and proactively apply creative strategies into deliverables, while adhering to project guidelines and deadlines.

  • Job Overview:

    The Account Coordinator position serves as an essential creative within the Eleven 17 ‘Ohana. This highly motivated team member thinks big picture and executes projects to the smallest details. The Account Coordinator (AC) interacts with the client and is responsible for the daily maintenance of the client's business and managing the daily flow of work through the agency as it relates to their clients. The Account Coordinator (AC) will work closely with our Account Managers in coordinating, planning, and evaluating assigned projects. This position interacts with all the disciplines of the agency. Please note that this position is unpaid and will not be eligible for Company-sponsored benefits. Furthermore, this internship is conducted without entitlement to a paid job at the conclusion of the internship. This internship is available to fulfill college internship credits for Fall and/or Spring semesters.

    Basic Qualifications:

    -Assist in the development of social content: social media copywriting, creative development, daily monitoring, reporting KPI’s and analytics, budget and media planning.

    -Effectively coordinates day-to-day tasks of advertising and marketing projects within predetermined time frame.

    -Regularly and professionally responds to customer inquiries on behalf of clients.

    -Ensures work is accurate and meets agency standards before being reviewed by client and vendors.

    -Works with teams to proactively develop alternative solutions for problems/delays that may arise.

    -Present project updates internally and with clients/agency partners.

    -Work and coordinate with different areas of the agency within specific timelines.

    -Exhibit resourcefulness in collecting relevant data on client and in marketplace.
